PocketBook Pro 902 features a 9.7” 1200 x 825 16-grayscale Eink display. Each Pro 902 comes with built in WiFi for connecting to the Web and the full browser allows for surfing the full Web, working with your e-mail, reading news sites, downloading content and more. Bluetooth allows you to connect your Pro 902 to many devices that offer Bluetooth connections including: Headphones, Keyboards and Mobile Phones.
PocketBook Pro 902 comes with 2 GB of internal memory to store up to 5,000 ebooks. Supporting up to 32 GB SDHC cards gives you even more room for storing books, pictures, video and more! One thousand classic, public domain ebooks are included.
All Pro series PocketBook ebook readers come with PocketBook International’s excellent reading software. Multi-format and Multi-lingual, nearly every ebook format is supported along with nearly all the world's languages. Formats currently supported include EPUB DRM, PDF DRM, EPUB, PDF, HTML, DJVU, RTF, TXT, PRC, CHM, DOC, TCR, FB2 and FB2.ZIP. There are already 20 menu languages to choose from, with more added at each software update. New Text to Speech function reads to you in a clear, natural sounding voice in 26 currently supported languages!
Add bookmarks, take notes, highlight and clip text. Change font style, size, line spacing and margins and multiple PDF Zoom levels and Reflow. The Guys in Kiev have greatly improved PDF reflow. Now diagrams and images are reflowed along with the text! No other ereader has this ability.
New for the Pro series of PocketBook readers is Active Contents. This unique function connects all of your bookmarks and notes with the table of contents of the book you are reading. When you open a book’s table of contents, you will see your notes and bookmarks listed along with the chapters.
PocketBook Pro 902 comes preloaded with ABBY Lingvo dictionaries. Select a word in the book you are reading and see the definition and a translation to another language. 44 additional Abby Lingvo dictionaries are available for purchase from PocketBook International’s BookLand.net content store.
Running out of things to read? WiFi and included browser give you instant and direct access to BookLand.net, the world’s content store. With hundreds of thousands of titles to choose from in 59 languages (more added every day) you will always have something new to read. No need to connect to the computer to add content, it can be downloaded directly for the Web. In addition, visit your favorite news sites, blogs and other online content suitable for Eink displays.
The user replaceable 1530 mAh battery will last for up to 7,000 pages turns, enough for 10 novels or a month of reading at 1 hour a day.
The main desktop of Pro devices now supports Widgets, which allow you to customize the reader according to your needs. Place apps such as Games, RSS News Reader, Calendar, Dictionaries, and Calculators on the desktop or remove them as needed.
Built in 3.5 mm audio connection and external speakers allow for easy listening to the Text to Speech as well as your favorite audio book or music while reading.
